WHAT IS CREATIVE DECONSTRUCTION?

Technically, it’s the “process of industrial mutation that incessantly revolutionizes the economic structure from within, incessantly destroying the old one, incessantly creating a new one.” It also happens to be a website dedicated to in-depth music industry news and commentary. Creative Deconstruction was founded by Refe Tuma in February of 2009.

WHO IS REFE TUMA?

He’s an American artist, writer and music lover.  He lives in Chicago with three beautiful women – one is a talented songwriter, and the other two will likely become talented songwriters sometime after they learn to use the ‘big potty.’ That’s Refe on the right. (It’s pronounced ‘reef.’)

HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?

The easiest way to get involved is to leave your two cents in the comments section of each article. Creative Deconstruction is designed to be a conversation between artists, industry and fans. The more of you that get involved, the more valuable the conversation will be. Have an interesting story, innovative idea or business model or an important piece of news?
