Music-Loving Web Developer Needed for Secret Project

I am currently knee deep in developing a new online platform that I believe answers a real need in the new music industry. (If you are part of the Creative Deconstruction Facebook community you already know this…) I’m working with Erik Peterson, the founder of music community and marketplace Plugola. We are very excited about the project, but we still need a couple of key roles to be filled on our team.

Most importantly, we are currently looking for a Ruby on Rails developer for this project. Candidates should have extensive knowledge in rails, or be willing and able to learn on the fly. A familiarity with the new music industry is preferred, but not required.

Here is a brief description of the types of skills and experience we are looking for:

• Must be available approximately 20 hrs/week during initial development period
• Must be available for future maintenance/upkeep (and possible add-ons)
• May use pre-developed plug-ins/code
• Good communication skills
• Ability to add design template(s)
• Very minor Java Script work expected
• Very minor e-commerce work expected (payment plugins/Paypal)
• Experience with crowd funding, social media, or online communities also a plus

All applicants MUST be able to produce examples of past work.
