More Creative Deconstruction

As you may have noticed, things have been a bit quiet around the site lately. There is no shocking top-secret reason for this – I have simply been moving across the US and haven’t had the time to post. Contributor Rich Huxley has also been holed up in an underground crypt (yes, a crypt) recording his band Hope and Social’s sophomore album ‘April.’ About the only person around here who has been doing his job lately has been Gabe Nijmeh whose excellent Music Tech Recap for March will run Tomorrow.
Thankfully, things should be getting back to normal-ish soon. There are a lot of exciting things going on in the new music business and we’ll be doing our best to break it down and continue the conversation over the coming months.
Here’s what you can expect from Creative Deconstruction in the immediate future:
- Music and Technology Recap March Edition – More excellent news and analysis from Gabe.
- The Barriers of Music Consumption: Past and Present - The first in a series of three essays co-authored with Kyle Bylin of Hypebot.
- The Deconstruct – Expect a new issue of our monthly newsletter to hit your inbox in a few days. Unless you aren’t signed up for our mailing list, in which case you’re out of luck (hint hint…)
Thanks for sticking around, and I’m looking forward to getting this content out there and digging into your comments!
