Lot’s of new music this week from the likes of Built to Spill, Mission of Burma, The Raveonette’s, and Xx.

Sufjan Stevens brings us Run Rabbit Run, a string quartet re-imagining of his all-electronic sophomore album Enjoy Your Rabbit. Read the full review I posted last week for more information.

I am also unhealthily excited about the new remasters of the Kraftwerk catalogue that drop this week. Back when I ran a little venue outside of Chicago we used to hook turntables up to the PA and play The Man-Machine during off hours. I will be waiting to pick them up until November, though, when they release the remasters on vinyl.

This week also brings us five reissued New Order albums on 180 gram vinyl, which means that I will soon be hearing them blasting through my floorboards courtesy of my post-punk obsessed neighbor downstairs.

The complete list is below with affiliate links to purchase straight from iTunes or Amazon (depending on availability at the time of posting.) You’ll notice that this list only includes major label acts – this is simply because I don’t have the time to track down each and every new independent release. If you are an independent artist or record label and would like your upcoming releases included on this weekly list please contact me.
